Isaac Werner is currently a freshman attending the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. They graduated from the EDGE program at Legend High School in May of 2020. They were a part of the Mandarin Chinese language program, participated in technical theater for theater productions put on at Legend, and was a varsity Lincoln-Douglas debater for the Legend Speech & Debate team.
Isaac is a student who strives to help others through the things they are passionate about, and so far they have accomplished this by connecting to multiple state representatives on the terms of American politics, being involved in the community, and founding the speech and debate team at their high school.
Outside of school, Isaac has self-published multiple short stories, poetry collections, and a scientific article. They enjoy occasionally writing music and creating art of their own and continuing to find ways through which they can help others. Lately, this has been through the form of attending protests, marches, and volunteering at the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus weekly.
